On Saturday 24th June 2023 we welcome you to the College to celebrate our 150 year milestone. The theme of the day will be exploring “Heritage” and rightly so. We have a rich history and one that we are proud of. Not only that, our aim is to celebrate our own personal stories and individual cultures, discovering all the things that make us unique.
We will be extending invitations to our wider Denstone Community, including pupils, parents, grandparents, alumni and Friends of Denstone. All will be most welcome.
Please arrive from midday where you will find our food village open from 12pm serving delicious street food, and treats from vendors such as Project D Donuts. A classic car show, sporting and musical highlights across the campus PLUS the “Big Denstone Draw” - part of our first art & literary exhibition, featuring a live and interactive art installation where we imagine the future of the College 150 years from now.
We will be encouraging you to enter into the fun run (some might remember the cross country route!) and enjoy some of the funfair rides on offer.
It promises to be a jam-packed day for all the family and we can't wait to see you there.
As part of our exploration into the theme of Heritage, we would like to invite submissions from our community. Please choose from the list below or feel free to put your own spin on it;
We will have a number of authors speaking on the day based in The Threlfall Library. More details to follow.

As a Woodard School, the arts are ingrained in our teaching. It's a wonderful thing to see our diverse community come together to celebrate their differences.

Join in The Denstone Big Draw!
Denstone College is home to a number of musical groups. From The Big Band, to Chapel Choir and everything inbetween. They will have a big presence on the day.
