Welcome to our archives
A small museum was created in 1876, when the collection was placed in a small room opening off the Great Schoolroom. In 1892 the room was enlarged and re-arranged by Mr A. A. Armstrong, who was curator for many years. The museum contained objects given by Denstonians in various parts of the world. Many items have been retained by the College, some will form part of the College Collection that will be carefully curated at College.
Please be sure to visit the archives on 24 June, or at a time convenient to you. We would be delighted to arrange a viewing.
With thanks to the OD Club for their generous donations to The Heritage Centre, The Prep and our transformational bursary programme.
