Parents’ Evenings
At least one parents’ evening is staged each year in line with the schedule below, with exact dates confirmed on our online calendar and further information sent before each event.
These evenings provide an opportunity for parents to meet and discuss academic progress with all relevant subject teachers. Students in each year are also encouraged to attend these events and participate in these discussions. Teachers have many other commitments over the course of a typical Denstone week and, as such, it is generally not possible to stage these discussions at other times although, should you be unable to attend a parents’ evening, please do feel free to contact your son or daughter’s tutor to arrange a conversation with them. In such circumstances tutors will usually be able to collate and pass on brief academic feedback from relevant teachers.
Alongside the above events, new parents will also be invited to our New Parents’ Social Evening, staged early in the Michaelmas term, where teaching staff will be available to discuss your son or daughter’s first few weeks at Denstone.
